Great Night at Bootle Mark.

On Monday the 5th March the members of Bootle Mark were delighted to be joined by a goodly number of visitors to witness the Advancement of Bro. Barry John Jones.

Hailing from Eurike Lodge No. 3763, the visitors comprised of: 4 Members of Deeside Lodge in the Province of Cheshire together along with West Lancashire brethren from Corinthian Mark Lodge 1052, Freshfield Mark Lodge 1007. Friendship Lodge 1549, and Lathom Mark Lodge 268.

The brethren of Bootle Mark were particularly delighted to receive V. W.Bro. Kevan Beardmore P.G.J.O. a member of Fylde Mark Lodge 296. and W.Bro. Stephen Walls Prov. G.J.W. from Corinthian Mark.

The 23 Members enjoyed a most convivial Festive Board, and following a toast to his health Bro. Jones was warmly welcomed into Mark Masonry by all present.

The evening was made even more special for the lodge by the acceptance of 2 joining members and a rejoining member, resulting in an increase of some 25% in membership in one evening.

All members are to be congratulated in their efforts to keep the lodge alive, I hope that the evening will give them great heart for the future. I hope that Mark Masons from other lodges will consider visiting Bootle Mark in the future, to extend their support.
